Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Working Wellness Director position is to help mid to large size companies and organizations invest in their employees’ health, wellness, and safety through the implementation of the “Working Wellness Shoe Program” powered by Duluth Running Co. In this role, The Working Wellness Director is responsible for developing and fostering relationships with Wellness Director’s and the heads of human resources, with the goal of creating cultures of wellness and ongoing successful partnerships.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Recruit and pitch wellness program to large companies throughout the upper
  Midwest
• Closing the sale with outside companies
• Utilizing Chamber membership and other networking opportunities to develop
  new clients
• Negotiating with vendors
• Secure inventory for corporate fitting events
• Develop order forms
• Develop and work within a budget
• Forecast shoe buying
• Order shoes to fulfill corporate orders
• Communicate with representatives of companies and the employees that
  purchase shoes
• Problem-solve order issues
• Develop contracts
• Maintain familiarity with shoe technology and biomechanics
• Train staff for corporate fittings
• Schedule and organize on site shoe fitting events
• Work with marketing director to develop and co-assist in program marketing
• Handle cash and credit card payments
• Manage and track corporate shoe inventory
• Track invoices
• Develop additional a la carte wellness offerings
• Website management
• Find and attend tabling events/conferences/wellness fairs

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in business, organizational management, human resources,
corporate wellness or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 3+ years in project management, or related field.
• Proven track record of leadership on projects
• Demonstrated sales experience
• Outgoing personality
• Dynamic
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Experience running multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven experience improving organizational efficiency
• Able to think creatively and problem solve

Hours, Compensation, and work location:

• Full time. Occasional evenings and weekends will be required. Some travel
  required with advance notice
• Base Salary negotiable based on experience
• Expectation to work from Duluth Running Co. Corporate offices Location at 1025
  London Rd. Duluth, MN

Availability

• Evenings (3-7pm)
• Weekends (10am-5pm)
• Some Holidays required on a rotating/seniority basis
• Occasional Daytime availability is a bonus
• A minimum of 10 hrs/week is desired

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Educate customers to encourage their running and walking needs
• Present a clean retail experience at all times
• Assist in store merchandising as needed
• Navigate a Point Of Sales system
• Check in and display new products upon arrival
• Some race and event assistance will be required
• Assist with in store events
• Additional tasks and requests as needed per management
• Assist in organizing and aiding off site events
