    Meet the Panelists:

    Cristina Nistler

    Cristina Nistler is a certified athletic trainer who specializes in working with distance runners. She has a B.S. in Athletic Training as well as an M.S. in Exercise Science from St. Cloud State University. Cristina has had the opportunity to work with collegiate athletes at Georgetown University and Northwestern University. She has also worked as an athletic trainer for the USA Lacrosse Women's U-19 teams and has spoken at the national level on athletic injury prevention. Cristina has finished 10 marathons and countless shorter races. Her most recent running accomplishment was taking first place in her first race as a Master's runner!

    She will be discussing common injuries that female runners sustain over a lifespan and how to prevent those injuries!

    Dr. Annita Winkles

    Dr. Annita Winkels, MA PT, DPT, is a physical therapist with advanced training in manual therapy and osteopathic techniques with a certification in Functional Manual Medicine from Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine. She specializes in treating sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, and pelvic health, helping athletes and active individuals optimize movement and performance. As the founder of In Motion Therapy, Annita is dedicated to hands-on, patient-centered care. A lifelong athlete and six-time marathon finisher, she understands the critical role breathing plays in endurance, recovery, and injury prevention. She is also a mother of 3 high school boys and enjoys an active lifestyle in our great outdoors.

    Alex Larson

    Alex Larson is a registered dietitian, endurance athlete, and founder of Alex Larson Nutrition. She specializes in helping runners, cyclists, and triathletes optimize their nutrition for peak performance, leaner body composition, and sustained energy, all while cultivating a positive relationship with food.
    As an Ironman finisher and mom of three, Alex blends personal experience with professional expertise to deliver science-backed, approachable strategies that work in the real world. Through her 1-on-1 nutrition coaching, Endurance Eats podcast, and Instagram, Alex inspires athletes to fuel confidently and reach their goals with endless joy and energy.

    Alex will be discussing the common mistake of runners called "under fueling". She will talk about why it's a problem, why it's common, and how to prevent it to make sure you feel the best during your run.

    Andrea Agar

    Andrea Agar is the Co-Owner and CFO of Duluth Running Company and the visionary behind the Duluth Womens 10 Mile. Passionate about empowering women through running, she founded the event to create a supportive and inspiring race experience. Proceeds from the race help fund the Bridging the Gap Fund, which provides resources and opportunities for women in the running community. With a deep commitment to both business and community impact, Andrea continues to champion inclusivity and growth in the sport.

    Andrea Agar will moderate the panel discussion and Q&A at Galentines Night, ensuring a lively and engaging conversation. She will also assist with fit sessions, helping attendees find the perfect sports bra.
