Get ready for your choice of two fantastic Duluth area races around Pike Lake!

The Pike Lake 10K and Half Marathon traverse rolling hills with scenic views. Both events start and finish near the water’s edge of Pike Lake. The half marathon goes around the lake twice with a little extra addition on the second loop. Aid stations for both events are approximately every two miles. And all finishers receive a complimentary pancake breakfast after the event.

Duluth’s newest half marathon, the Pike Lake Half Marathon new September date will dish out beautiful fall colors. Expect a super well supported event with a rural feel on a course that packs plenty of rolling variation. Choose the virtual option if you want to get a great shirt and participate on your own time.

All participants in the 10K and half marathon receive a sublimated long sleeve 1/4 zip shirt ($40 Value). Men’s/Unisex version shown.

Participants also receive a pancake breakfast following the race as part of their 10K/Half Marathon registration.

How will the event look:

We can’t predict what the CDC recommendations will be by September 27th; however, we do know that a number of major running events are set to occur around the end of September and early October. We may require athletes to wear masks before the event takes off, possibly for the first few hundred meters of the race, and during the post race party. Other measures like a staggered start may also need to be implemented.

What happens if the rescheduled event is cancelled?

We will notify all participants well in advance if we need to cancel the physical event. If the second rendition is cancelled all participants will be automatically transferred to the virtual event. It will be your choice to participate in the virtual event. Shirts and awards will be mailed following the event.
