Get ready for your choice of two fantastic Duluth area races around Pike Lake!
The Pike Lake 10K and Half Marathon traverse rolling hills with scenic views. Both events start and finish near the water’s edge of Pike Lake at the Pike Lake Golf and Beach Club. The half marathon goes around the lake twice with a little extra addition on the second loop. Aid stations for both events are approximately every two miles.
Participants have the choice to participate in person or virtually. Both options are available in the registration link.
All participants in the 10K and half marathon receive a long sleeve technical shirt. The 2021 shirt is pictured below:
The Pike Lake 10K and Half Marathon will have a wave-style for both the Half Marathon and the 10K. The waves will have a cap of 50 participants, and will be spaced 5 minutes apart. See wave structure below:

Please know the status of the Pike Lake 10K and Half Marathon is subject to change at any time. Should this event go completely virtual, all participants will automatically be transferred to the virtual event. We do not offer refunds for in-person event cancellation.

Friday, May 14th:
- 10:00am-6:00pm: Packet Pickup | Duluth Running Co. 1026 E Superior Street, Duluth MN
Saturday, May 15th:
- 8:00am: Start of the Pike Lake Half Marathon waves
- 8:30am: Start of the Pike Lake 10K waves
- 10:00am: Kids’ 1/4 Mile
- 10:30am: Award Ceremony

Pike Lake 10K and Half Marathon Age Divisions
9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
There will be 3 aid stations on the loop, featuring both water and sport drink (TBD).
